the cost of the college i want to attend is 40,000 dollars a year. i’m getting a 10,000 scholarship and a 5,000 stafford loan but since i’m not applicable for fafsa i get nothing else. and i will have no way of coming up with the extra 25,000 on my own.
what other options do i have for student loans and possible grants?
Being in debt would mean that I don’t have the finances to pay for obtaining a degree.
My payment is due on the 12th of every month, but was wondering if they allow a 10 day grace period? If I do use the grace period, will this raise my interest rate?
Hi. I am looking for sources of loans for international students looking to study in America. Please let me know of any organizations or agencies that offer them.
Thanks in advance
Im planning on switching universites and i have student loans with Sallie Mae. Will Sallie Mae take over the Loans to the new university and i can still avoid the repayment of the old loans for the next two years?
Deferment can be authorized for
-economic hardship,
-unemployment,
-military deployment,
-enrollment in school,
-internship,
-national service, and
-similar situations.
Remember if you defer (unless it’s a subsidized Stafford loan) you will continue accruing interest and that interest will be capitalized (added to the principal of your loan) so this can be an expensive option.
If there is any way to repay, it’s best to pay them down as quickly as possible.
A lot of people with poor credit usually have less money, so why do we get the higher interest rates?
is it through the school? government? bank?
I have a little girl and I need to help take care of her needs to with my husband.
