Can we live without credit?

If I am the merchandise who provides the online selling service with credit card payment method. So, i will only delivery the goods to someone after we received the payment confirmation from the bank.
As the credit card transaction will only be reflect in the statement about one month later, what happen if someone claim that they never buy those goods and claim that someone have misused his credit card to do the transaction? when they report it to the bank? then will the bank came to withdrawn the transaction from us? mean we will need to bear for the loss??
since we have already delivery to goods out (sometime is overseas one) and if bank decided not to pay us that transaction, then we will suffer a big lose?

I am not a US citizen, nor do I live in the US. I am paying off student loans from abroad.
What is the worst that could happen if I stopped paying these off? How could they track me down, and even if they did, what power would they have in another country?
Thanks :)

I’m a victim of credit card fraud. How can they do it while I still have my card? What I did wrong? What else I should worry about? Should I worry about identity theft now? Thanks

I have a friend who is very desperate because of all the debts, shortsale/foreclosure of his house, mounting credit card bills, etc, want to just leave the country for good to start anew. What would be the possible consequences of this? Will it clear all his debts, if he comes back to the US after 3 years would he be in trouble?

if you emmigrated to another country i.e. canada and you had loans with leading uk lenders, what would happen if you closed your bank accounts and just moved, woudl the debt catch up with you? Just curious not planning, before i get any lectures????

I have two zero percent credit cards. I plan to pay one of them off in March and the other in November. The debt to available balance ratio is 20% on each. I always pay on time and pay at least twice the minimum due.
I understand that there is no such thing as a fixed interest rate. Can my credit card companies raise my rates even if I continue to pay on time and more than the minimum.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I heard that Obama is trying to push a public health system that will allow everybody to have health insurance no matter what pre existing conditions he or she may have.
If this is reached, what would happen to insurance carriers like Blue Cross, Blue Shield? Will we need these companies and health insurance agents?

The U.S. borrowed a ton of money from the Chinese? What if the U.S. could not pay back their loans? Will we need to learn to speak Chinese?

I am at a 4 yr. University now and I have been going for 2 years, I have student loans. We might be moving out of state. I will have to go to a new University, but in order to avoid out-of-state tuition I will have to wait one year before enrolling at the new school. Will I have to pay my loans during that year off? Is there a loophole?
